Different means of accessing services

At the moment it is possible to access Gitlab , JIRA , Confluence , and Mattermost  by logging into SSO using two methods:

  • an account created purely for EUROfusion Software Stack  - so called KeyCloak  account
  • an account you typically use for logging into IMS/IDM  services (this account is handled by IPP Garching )

You can choose which account to use by visiting the page: https://gitlab.eufus.psnc.pl/users/sign_in and proceeding to EUROfusion IdP login page

You can now select two ways of authentication:

  • IMS/IDM  compatible one - Login with Garching AD
  • EUROfusion Software Stack account - here you can use your login details once you had your account created.

It is not required to have a dedicated EUROfusion Software Stack account. However, if you do have EUROfusion Software Stack account it is advised to link it with IMS/IDM  account. You can read about this step by following the link. The easiest way to check whether you have ESS account or not is to reset your password. If you already have an account associated with your e-mail, a link for reseting the password will be sent to this account. You can simply ignore it.

How to log in to services using IMS/IDM account?

If you already have IMS/IDM  account you can use Active Directory at IPP to login to Gitlab/JIRA/Confluence. Make sure to select Login with Garching AD and provide login details as stated below.
