It is now possible to use IPP based Active Directory (login page for IMS/IDM/Pinboard) to log in into EUROfusion Software Stack services (*.eufus.psnc.pl). This method can be used to log in into:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Gitlab
- Mattermost
Please note that EUROfusion Software Stack and IPP AD accounts are two different accounts. However, it is possible to link them and this way make sure that regardless of which one is used you are recognised as the same person.
Linking accounts
Lining process should be done during first login with Active Directory based in IPP. You don't have to perform linking if you have never used EUROfusion Software Stack in the past. However, if you have worked with EUROfusion Software Stack in the past and you decide not to link accounts, you will be seen as two different people by the system. This may lead to issues in the future.
Login in using IPP based Active Directory
When logging into the system (e.g. https://gitlab.eufus.psnc.pl), choose Active Directory at IPP. You have to use the same credentials as if were trying to log into https://ims.euro-fusion.org or https://idm.euro-fusion.org. Once you have logged in there is a one time step allowing you to link your accounts. In here, you need to provide your e-mail address you have used for EUROfusion Software Stack services. The very same you use for logging into: https://gitlab.eufus.psnc.pl.
With this information at hand, you can proceed with linking as shown below.

If you want to link your Active Directory IPP and EUROfusion Software Stack accounts make sure to provide either user name or e-mail as if you were logging to https://gitlab.eufus.psnc.pl.
Please note that neither of these accounts will be affected (they will not be changed). This linking process makes you act as the same person regardless of whether you use IPP AD account or ESS account.
This is a safe procedure.
